RB/A has always been an advocate of sustainable design. From the beginning of a project, we work with the team to produce architecture that is not only sensitive to the environment, but will stand the test of time, and accomplish more with less.
Our projects all incorporate elements of sustainability: from land conservation, building orientation, daylighting, and solar electric systems, to rainwater collection, natural ventilation, and high efficiency envelopes. With some projects we pursue LEED or LEED equivalent status, and for others we incorporate time-honored, best-practice sustainable design.
Some notably sustainable projects we have done include New Seasons Markets, the Halyard Building (LEED Silver), Gran Moraine, numerous private homes, and Congregation Kol Ami.
